Wanderveil is a human-led planning service. Automation can help organize context and routine support, but it does not replace the people responsible for planning, judgment and supplier work.
Your dedicated Travel Planner
Your Travel Planner reviews your trip request, Destination Match, proposal, constraints and planning decisions. Conflicting preferences, unusual circumstances and anything that needs judgment stay with a person.
Live Wanderveil concierge support
When a situation needs personal help, a change, supplier involvement or a decision beyond routine guidance, it is handled by the Wanderveil team rather than silently delegated to automation.
AI boundaries
Where Maria stops
Maria is Wanderveil’s AI concierge and can answer routine questions, provide milestone guidance, send reminders and route issues for follow-up. She cannot spend money, authorize payment, issue refunds, cancel, rebook or independently contact suppliers.
Your Wanderveil team stays connected. Every booked trip includes a dedicated Travel Planner, support from Maria as your AI concierge, and live Wanderveil concierge support. Conflicting traveler preferences and booking-critical decisions go to planner review instead of being silently resolved.
Payment integrity
How payments are protected
When an approved customer payment step is reached, Wanderveil creates a Stripe Checkout session and card entry occurs in Stripe-hosted Checkout rather than in a Wanderveil card-entry form. Wanderveil relies on provider-verified payment status before later workflow steps treat payment as complete.
Payment is not booking authorization. A successful payment never replaces traveler confirmation or final booking authorization. Supplier work remains behind the customer-controlled approval chain.
Account boundaries
Secure by design
Plan My Trip and Travel Planner contact requests are captured as leads for Travel Planner review; submitting either form does not create a customer account, booking, or charge authorization. Permission to contact you about the trip request you submitted is separate from optional promotional marketing. If you decide to move forward after planner review, Wanderveil can invite you into secure customer access for proposal acceptance, payment consent, traveler confirmation, and booking authorization. Supplier operations stay owner-controlled and cannot begin without your booking authorization.
Changes & repricing
When plans change
Travel prices and availability can move until supplier arrangements are completed. A material change outside your approved guardrails comes back to you instead of becoming automatic permission to spend more. Cancellations, credits and refunds can also depend on the applicable supplier rules, timing and any travel protection you purchase.
Changes that require judgment stay with people. Maria can surface trip context and route the issue, but cancellation, refund, rebooking and supplier decisions remain with you and the Wanderveil team under the applicable proposal and terms.
